Background
Phenotype evolved from an proprietary, german PHP 4 script based agency CMS to an multlilanguage PHP 5 OOP Open Source Content Management Framework. Opening the system took quite more time than expected (and is still not fully finished yet). First international release was published 11/2008, first international website went live 02/2009.

If you live in the german Rhein-/Main area, you may contact Nils Hagemann for a commercial Phenotype workshop. He will either give you an introduction to Phenotype or discuss with you any Phenotype issue on your mind and helps you to get on track with your project.

- write your own tutorial / how tos. They can be very elementary, everything is helpfull
- describe features of Phenotype, not yet documentated here
- translate any german artefact you find in this wiki
- insert internal wiki links, where appropriate, to optimize the acquisition of information
- Bugs
- submit a bug at sourceforge
- Fix a bug by inheriting all defective methods of the relevant system code and send us your code
- API Doc
- Apply for SVN access (with your Sourceforge account) and write phpdoc headers
- Spread the word
- Write about Phenotype in your Blog, twitter about your development
